This I Believe: My Pick

"I am talking about the laughter that makes tears stream down your face, makes your abs feel like you just did 1000 sit-ups, and makes your smiling cheeks burn.", Kelly's "I believe in Laughter" could sum up my life. I laugh over everything. Some people may see it as a flaw but i don't. Laughing shows a diffrent side of people. It shows that one can forget about eveything for that one second and just laugh. The ablility to laugh at your self is somthing that may take some decades to renforce. Not for me, I learned at the young age to laugh at myself. Laughing at yourself shows your not perfect and you do make mistake. Which is two things i live by. Laugh at everything and know your not perfect, nobody is.

There are many things in life that mean alot to me. Some things that can be described in words and some that cannont. One word that means the most to me is love. Without love i could possibly not be in existance. Without love would have adam and eve been able to make what they have? Some many question come from love. Although, I have never felt love from someone in a boyfriend/girlfriend way I have felt it with my family and close friends. Love to me is almost unexplainable. Many people use the word without knowing what it actaully means. You can't really blame anyone becasue is there a exact definition of love?

The reason i have a remote in the picture is two fold. One is the obvious I love watching tv and have shows that i watch every week. The second reason is the control of the remote. I have nail polish becasue ever since I was little I used to paint my mom and dads nails. I have jawbreakers because they are my favorite candy and I cannot live without them. I have a stapler and calulator because when im older I want to do somthing with math or be some sort of a secretary. I have the stamps and stramp pad because I love scrap booking my memories and I hope to continue to do that for the rest of my life.

This I Believe Statements

I believe that nobody has choice. We are all born into somthing without true options. That genetics make a big part of your life. That you background can infulence you. Goverment wants you to think you have free choice. But when does the goverment tell the truth?

I believe in true friends. The ones that will simply be there for you no matter what. Tell you how they actually feel not just what you want to hear. Can be happy for you, not jealous. Can love you no matter what.

I believe in love at first site. I believe that looking at someone for a split seconds can change your life. Making eye contact with someone on the street can set a spark that you cant help but imaging you life with them.

I believe nobody is perfect. Nobody can do everything in a perfect manner. No matter what someone does it will always make at least one person in the universe upset. You can truely please everyone.

I believe aduluty is the worst thing a man could do to woman. Cheating on your significatnt other is a stab in the heart, can ruin someones being.

I believe that everyone is a just a blink of the eye. 78 years may seem so long. Compared to history we are just a single person who has flashed byin the world. Without importance what is the point of life? you will never be remembered unless you do somthing significatant.Some people create infamous situations, but you never know how people will try tomake their mark.

I believe in the elderly. The elderly should be more respected. They have wisdom that nobody no matter what their education at a younger age can attain. It takes a real look intothe world to see the knowelge that elders hold. I personally love my grandparents and would do anything for them.

I believe the only person you have actually missed in your life is your mother. Growing up I have always misssed my mother. I really believe i have never truely missed in my life besides her. I think your body is set up that way so when you have childern you nuture your child just how your mother had done to you. So you know how good it feels to be loved.

I believe in working for your own assets. Ever since i got my first job i enjoyed knowing that what i buy is with my own sweat and work. I think everybody wither they say it or not feels a certain high when they make a living themselfs not having to be relient on other people.

I believe time is everything. Time shows everything about a person. Are they late? are they early? Time depends on your future if you wouldnt have been at a certain place at a certain time would you have meet your soulmate?

Dear mom...

"Someone should have taught him,That it's wrong to drink and drive.Maybe if his parents had,I'd still be alive."

The poem called Dear mom is by an unknown author it has been said it was found floating around highschools across the nation. I don't think ive ever felt so much for a poem before. It really opened my eyes about drunk driving and how your never really safe. This poem to me was very emotional. It went from a girl making a safe decision to a differnt person making a poor one causing this girl to die on the sidewalk. This poem has been my favorite since 7th grade health and it still has yet to change.

Q: What did you want to be when you were little/What do you plan to do after highschool/Why do you feel you need futhur education/Why do you feel money is important in a job?

A: When I was little I always watned to be a teacher since i love to work on whiteboards/chalkboards. In my old house i used to have a room where i fake taught imagenary students in. I would pretend that they were all listening. I plan to do some sort of education after highschool. Whether its a 4 year university or a 2 year tech i know i need futhur education than highschool. With the economy how it is and with the job rates decreaseing in the day in time its tough to find a deccent paying job. Expecially if you have no education after highschool. I also have seen many statstics about the price range in which people make from a 2 year tech or 4 year college and it is far more than someone who went right into the work force after highschool. Although you should really try to enjoy what you do as a job money is always a factorfor me. I think this because its hard to raise a family and have the necessitys to live without a stable paycheck.

Who was your role model when you were a little kid/ How has that changed/What are some qualities from your role model that you think will affect you for the rest of your life?

When i was a little kid i always looked up to my mom. She has always been nice to people in need and she never thinks about herself always careing about others. I wouldnt say it has changed but i have gained more qualities as the years go by. I think my mom being my role model for the rest of my life will impact me greatly. She has literally always been there for me and thats how i plan to be there for my kids. I can't imgaine a mom not being there for her daughter.

What was your favorite tradition when you were younger/ Why was that your favorite tradation/ How has the expirence changed you?

My favorite tradition when i was younger was deffintaly thanksgiving. Thanksgiving happened to fall on my grandpas birthday so it ended up being a bigger celebration than even Christmas. It was my favorite becasue its somthing that brought all of my family togther. Somthing that was talked about a month before hand. Not to mention my grandmas brillant cooking skills. This expirence has truely made me greatfull for my family and how much we love each other and we know all of us will always be there for eachother no matter what.
